Requiem - Callie Hart (ARC)

 Requiem - Callie Hart

I literally have no words for this. Requiem is a dramatic and beautiful romance book with a good plot twist and I read it within 4 – 5 hours because I couldn’t put it down.

Sorrell Voss starts her senior year at Toussaint Academy with one mission in mind: she wants revenge for the death of her best friend. She belives that the rich boy Theo Merchant is responsible for it but little does she know that Theo knows more than she likes and question upon question arises. Is Theo really responsible? Or is there more to the whole story than it seems?

Sorrell was a great character and I think she was genuinely authentic written, I felt all her confusion because let’s be honest I was so confused before the plot twist but it was all so authentic and really good for the story.

At the beginning oft he book I was also so confused about Theos character. I needed my time to understand him and I think it is hard to do that before the plot twist comes out but in the end he is so selfless and protective and his love for Sorrell is so deep. It was so, so beautiful.

As I said, Requiem is a dramatic but beautiful romance book and I know that it is promoted as a dark romance book but in my opinion it was rather tragic than dark. Yes, it had dark moments and a good mystery but all in all I think it was more tragic.
