Change My Game is a standalone in the North Haven University series, which follows the Haven Grace Prep series. Each book can be read on its own but I would recommend reading all of them because they are amazing and you get to know a bunch of adorable and great characters and also because Kelsey’s writing is amazing. It’s very easy to follow the story and the characters thoughts.

It’s an emotional second chance romance and shows us the story of Jace and Paige and it might be triggering for some readers because it deals with sensitive topics.

We got a glimps of Jace in The Sinner, the first book of the Haven Grace Prep series, since he was a part of Savannah’s friends group and we also get a glimps of old friends in this book which made me really happy.

We also get to know Carter a little better since he happens to be Jace’s best friend.

I didn’t really know what to expect from this book so I was very excited to read it and therefore finished it before I was emotionally ready to read the last page.

It was unibelievable emotional and heartbreaking and at some points it was really hard for me to continue reading without taking one – or three – deep breaths.

Our main characters Paige and Jace are going through some traumatic experiences which is very terrible and left me shattered but we also get to witness their beautiful development as persons.

Change My Game is an amazing but really emotional book about two High- School best friends who lost contact with another and are now trying to find each other and themselves again.
