One- Timer is the third book in Teagan Hunter’s Carolina Comets series and follows Hollis and Lowell.

Hollis recently divorced her cheating husband and is feeling very emotional thus it isn’t easy for her to really enjoy her sisters wedding. After a rocky start, Hollis and Lowell decide later that evening to call a truce and spent the night together with the intention to never see each other again. But a few weeks later, Hollis discovers that she is pregnant and the father happens to be no other than the famous hockey player and best friend of Hollis‘ sister’s husband, Lowell.

Normally, I’m a bit hesitant when it comes to the pregnancy trope because I don’t really like it but I couldn’t say no to this book and I’m so glad I didn’t!

I loved Hollis and Lowell from the very first second, they had such a rocky but funny start and the humor was amazing in this book. Their relationship develeopment was also so great because Hollis and Lowell focused solely on their surprise child and put her first, always, so they build their relationship around their child.

It was a very lovely and funny book and I enjoyed every second of it. Hollis and Lowell were great characters and I loved reading about the other couples as well. I can’t wait for Emilia and Smith’s book!
