Tutoring the Player - Rebecca Jenshak (ARC)

Tutoring the Player - Rebecca Jenshak (ARC) ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion. Tutoring the Player is the most adorable book I’ve ever read by Rebecca. It was so cute but also funny and I couldn’t stop swooning! It follows the very shy „wallflower“ Daisy, who has a crush on her lab class partner Liam and Jordan, the bad boy hockey player with a heart of gold. Daisy is added to Jordan and Liams group in their shared lab class, because her partner is a now show, and although she is very happy to be partnerd up with the good guy Liam, her crush, she could do without Jordan. But when Jordan notices Daisys sneaking looks at Liam, he decides that his Team Captain doesn’t need a distraction and convinces Diasy to tutoring him so she would stay away from Liam. What Jordan doesn’t expect was to fall in love with Daisy or how she would react when she discovers that Jordan does not, in fact, needs her tutoring.   Daisy and Jordan’s story was so sweet. They ...

One - Timer - Teagan Hunter  ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.   One- Timer is the third book in Teagan Hunter’s Carolina Comets series and follows Hollis and Lowell. Hollis recently divorced her cheating husband and is feeling very emotional thus it isn’t easy for her to really enjoy her sisters wedding. After a rocky start, Hollis and Lowell decide later that evening to call a truce and spent the night together with the intention to never see each other again. But a few weeks later, Hollis discovers that she is pregnant and the father happens to be no other than the famous hockey player and best friend of Hollis‘ sister’s husband, Lowell. Normally, I’m a bit hesitant when it comes to the pregnancy trope because I don’t really like it but I couldn’t say no to this book and I’m so glad I didn’t! I loved Hollis and Lowell from the very first second, they had such a rocky but funny start and the humor was amazing in this book. Their relations...

Always on my Mind - Samantha Chase  ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.   After confessing her love and getting rejected by her (former) best friend Tyler, Parker decides it is best if she puts some distance between them and moves back to Magnolia Sound, the small town where everyone of her big family lives. The only problem is, that she doesn’t have a place to live but then she happens to meet her former schoolmate Ethan who has a free room in his new house and Parker ends up renting said room. So, this book was kind of a ride for me. I haven’t read any of the Magnolia Sound books and I think that was a mistake because Parkers family situation was so confusing to me and I couldn’t really sympathize with her siblings because from my point of view they weren’t great to Parker but I think if I read those books first, I would have understood them better.   The plot was great. I liked the idea and I also liked the development of Ethan and ho...
