I’m always up for a good hockey romance and this author is going to be one of my favorites in this „genre“. After reading Wild Love, I couldn’t be more happier that Rebecca is giving this new group of hockey players a shot, because I already loved their interactions with Mav.

 

Wildcat follows Leo, a hockey player for the Minnesota Wildcats, and Scarlett who is the daughter of said hockey team Coach. Scarlett just got home from a year abroad and know two things: One, she doesn’t want to be a full time student anymore, and two, she especially doesn’t want to date professional athletes again for the rest of her life, which means it’s great that Leo and Scarlett only exchange their first name with each other, after meeting in a bar and ending up in Leo’s hot tub. Right?

 

Leo and Scarlett were amazing characters and their chemistry and love story was just perfect. I enjoyed every single moment between them and I loved reading their story. Leo was the perfect book guy with, I think one of my favorite nicknames for Scarlett.

 

Wildcat is one of the best hockey romances I read, it is wholesome and funny and Leo and Scarlett are a great couple. Leo is such an adorable guy that I wanted to hop in the book and hug him for most of the time and I loved how much he adored Scarlett. It also has the forbidden aspect, because of Scarlett being his Coach’s daughter.

So, if you are looking for a new hockey romance I would definitely recommend this one!

It follows Marnie, who got left at the altar and ends up being a meme and Griffin, a bartender who becomes Marnies borrowed boyfriend. I absolutely adore the fake dating trope and the concept of the Fairy Godmother Agency was amazing. Marnie and Griffins chemistry was amazingly shown and I enjoyed their banter and friendship development so much. This was such a quick, funny and lightweighed story with a lot of sweet moments between those two characters and I can’t wait to read the other books.    Break Your Little Heart - Charleigh Rose I’m so happy that this book is FINALLY here, I waited a long time for this and it didn’t disappoint me in the slightest.    Holden and Valen had me at hello, I loved their relationship, their banter, their tension and especially all the emotions. Valen is the one in their relationship that doesn’t want a relationship and wants to keep things casual whereas Holden quickly realises that he wants her for himself. He really surprised me with his patience and gentleness and I loved to see his sweet side.   This book is by far my favourite one of Charleighs books. I loved both Holden and Valen individually and as a couple and their emotions were really well written. The plot had it ups and downs, it was very focused on the relationship with a little side plot but I totally enjoyed it.    I highly, highly recommend reading the first book in the series.  Tutoring the Player - Rebecca Jenshak (ARC) ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion. Tutoring the Player is the most adorable book I’ve ever read by Rebecca. It was so cute but also funny and I couldn’t stop swooning! It follows the very shy „wallflower“ Daisy, who has a crush on her lab class partner Liam and Jordan, the bad boy hockey player with a heart of gold. Daisy is added to Jordan and Liams group in their shared lab class, because her partner is a now show, and although she is very happy to be partnerd up with the good guy Liam, her crush, she could do without Jordan. But when Jordan notices Daisys sneaking looks at Liam, he decides that his Team Captain doesn’t need a distraction and convinces Diasy to tutoring him so she would stay away from Liam.
