The End of Us (ARC) - Kennedy Fox

Bild
The End of Us - Kennedy Fox I received a copy of The End of Us in exchange of an honest review.   This book was everything! Although I’m not really into age-gap romance books, Kennedy Fox is a must read for me and I couldn’t be happier about receiving an ARC. I loved the firsts books in the series, I loved this one and I can’t wait to read the next book.   The End of Us follows Kendall’s sister Piper and her bodyguard Tristan. Due to Piper being stalked, they are forced to flee from home and live in Tristan’s family beach house but Piper, being a social media star, is not happy about certain rules Tristan made.   This book was amazing. I was so curious how the story and the characters would develope and I absolutely loved it! At first I thought Piper was such a brat because she constantly complained about Tristan rules and didn’t seem so fond of him protecting her and keeping her safe which I found really annoying, but once Piper explained her feelings a...

Wildcat - Rebecca Jenshak (ARC)

Wildcat - Rebecca Jenshak ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.   I’m always up for a good hockey romance and this author is going to be one of my favorites in this „genre“. After reading Wild Love, I couldn’t be more happier that Rebecca is giving this new group of hockey players a shot, because I already loved their interactions with Mav.   Wildcat follows Leo, a hockey player for the Minnesota Wildcats, and Scarlett who is the daughter of said hockey team Coach. Scarlett just got home from a year abroad and know two things: One, she doesn’t want to be a full time student anymore, and two, she especially doesn’t want to date professional athletes again for the rest of her life, which means it’s great that Leo and Scarlett only exchange their first name with each other, after meeting in a bar and ending up in Leo’s hot tub. Right?   Leo and Scarlett were amazing characters and their chemistry and love story was just perfect. I enjoyed e...

His for the Holidays - Samantha Chase

His for the Holidays - Samantha Chase ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion. His for the Holidays is a heartwarming, funny, Christmas themed romance book that makes your time fly away.   Hannah and Gage live in the same apartment complex and didn’t exchange a word with each other until one day, after a long flight home from Thanksgiving break, Hannah finds herself trapped in the elevator with no other than Gage Lawson. And because they have nothing than an unexpected amount of time, delicious Christmas cookies and red wine, they begin to talk and a few days later Hannah pretends to be his girlfriend so his mom and sisters doesn’t force him to go out with other women. But is their whole relationship really fake?   Hannah and Gage were wonderful characters. I loved their whole friendship and development not only between each other but also individually. There were a lot of funny and cute moments and I loved Hannahs kindness and willingness to he...

Good Guys Don't Lie - Micalea Smeltzer

Good Guys Don't Lie - Micalea Smeltzer  ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.   After reading the first two books in the series I had really high hopes for this one but I was a bit disappointed at the end.   Overall it was a cute book, the characters Cree and Ophelia had good chemistry and they had a lot of scenes that I really liked and enjoyed reading, they even had a good relationship but I have the feeling it just wasn’t a good book form me. I cringed a lot of times and I couldn’t really get the whole pretending/lying point and I thought their relationship happened way to fast. Also, I couldn’t get really warm with Cree although he is good character and he was so patient with Ophelia but I focused more on the side characters and throughout the whole book I realized that I enjoyed the little aspects about them a little bit more than I did about Ophelia and Cree.   Althoug, I did not quite enjoyed this book, I am excited for the n...

The Mistletoe Motive - Chloe Liese (ARC)

Bild
The Mistletoe Motive - Chloe Liese ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.   The Mistletoe Motive is an adorable, rivals to lovers, sunshine/grumpy christmas romance and I couldn’t enjoy reading it more. It follows Gabriella and Jonathan who work together at an independent bookstore and are now kind of competing against each other due to its financial problems. Gabriella is our ray of sunshine, she is so kind and absolutely in love with Christmas, while Jonathan can’t stand the holidays and also her grumpy co- manager is. They were so adorable and precious together, honestly I think I was smiling throughout this whole book. The character development and the description of their disabilitys was really good and authentic and their banter was so amazing.   If you are looking for a fast read with cutness overload to put you into the right christmas spirit, I would totally recommend this book to you.   4/5☆
