A Very Grumpy Christmas - Jerica MacMillan ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.   A Very Grumpy Christmas is a sweet and heartwarming holiday read about Sarah and her grumpy neighbour Shane. Shane is still grieving the loss of both his parents and dealing with being the parental figure for his little sister Sophie and his sunshine neighbour Sarah is just too much to handle for him. But because of her good heart and love for Christmas she wants to help where she can to make the first Christmas without their parents amazing for cute little Sophie and the more time the three of them spent together, wether it is voluntarily or kind of forced, they get to know each other better and better.   This book has it all: amazing characters that will keep making you smile, laugh out loud moments, great tropes, heartbreaking but also heartwarming moments. And it will push you right into Christmas mode.   4/5☆

Pembroke Prep - Becker Gray (ARC)

Pembroke Prep - Becker Gray  ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest opinion.   Pembroke Prep is a collection of the first three Hellfire Club books by Becker Gray. It contains: #1: Wicked Idol (Iris & Keaton) -> 3 stars #2: Callous Prince (Sloane & Lennox) -> 3 stars #3: Brutal Blueblood (Tanith & Owen) -> 3 stars   Sooo, how do I say this? I got really excited to receive an copy of this book to review it, because I remember reading them in August and I enjoyed it, however my second read wasn’t so good. I liked the stories and the development of each, but I didn’t really connected with the characters. They were just a bit off to me and I was irritated a lot and also didn’t really got those feelings where you fell completely in love with the characters and are so excited to read about their journey. I read a lot of High School romances in the last year and maybe and normally I like them but these books were a bit too cringy a...

Wanting You Close - Kennedy Fox (ARC)

Wanting You Close - Kennedy Fox  I received a copy of Wanting You Close in exchange of an honest review.   Wanting You Close is the last book in Kennedy Fox‘ Ex- Con Duet series and follows the events of Forcing You Away, which means you need to read this book first because it ends with a cliffhanger that will start this book.   After reading Forcing You Away I was a bit anxious about how this will all come to an end but I have to say, I was worried for nothing. This book, the conclusion to Everleigh and Archer’s duet and also the whole series, was so amazing. I was so excited when I saw it on my kindle, that I literally stopped doing anything and just read until I finished it. It was so captivating and intense that I forgot everything around me. Also, I think Everleigh and Archer may be the hottest couple.   Although I think the ending was a bit rushed, it was a great book and I enjoyed reading it so much. I loved reading about the other characters...

Good Girl Complex - Elle Kennedy (ARC)

Good Girl Complex - Elle Kennedy      When Elle Kennedy announced this book my very first thought was „I need it. I’m going to love it.“ and how right I was because I couldn’t put this down for one second. It was a masterpiece that I enjoyed from the first word to the last. And I couldn’t be more happier to receive an early copy. Mac and Cooper couldn’t be more different. She comes from a wealthy family, has a boyfriend, is sweet and lovely, a typical good girl but also so very stubborn.   He is a flirty bad boy, does not come from a wealthy family, is hot tempered but also very charismatic and intelligent. Both togheter? Had perfect chemistry. And one simple bet is the beginning of a wonderful friendship and love story. Mac and Cooper where amazing characters, I loved how he stood up for her, how understanding he was and they had so many cute scenes toghether I nealry started crying at some point. I loved their story so much and I think this book was...

A Shadow in the Ember - Jennifer L. Armentrout

A Shadow in the Ember - Jennifer L. Armentrout    Uuuugh, where do I begin? I just love Jennifer‘s writing and her ability to make me fall in love with every single character of hers. I adore her books, her stories and the whole world building is phenomenal.   A Shadow in the Ember is the first book in the Flesh and Fire series, which is set in the Blood and Ash world. Personally, I would highly recommend reading the Blood and Ash series first, but on the other hand this book may be a good start in the series overall because of the given background information.   First of all, can we please all talk about the dragons? The BABY dragons? When I tell you my jaw dropped to the floor, these scenes where so hilarious and adorable I want a baby dragon all for myself and I hope we will see a lot more of them in the upcoming forth book of Blood and Ash. Although, A Shadow in the Ember had a lot of similarities to Blood and Ash, which is critisism I totally u...
