My opinion



Pushing You Away is the thrid book in the Ex-Con Duet Series but is the first one, that follows Katie and Noahs story which continues in the second book Holding You Close that will be available on March 16th.


It was the first book in the Ex-Con Duet Series that I read and let me tell you, I was not disappointed. I loved it! I finished this book in one sitting because I just couldn’t put it down, it was so addicting and before I knew it, it was 3AM and I read the last sentence which left me more than shocked.


But it was so good! I loved the story and the relationship between Katie and Noah which was kind of a slow burn but it didn’t really felt like it. This book has a lot of sad parts, but also funny and cute ones and I really enjoyed reading it.


Although Katie and Noah are our dual perspective main characters, we get also a very good amount of Gemma, Tyler,Everleigh and Katies son Owen.


I am very excited for the second book and if you love romance novels I really recommend this book.

It was one of my most anticipated books this year and it didn’t disappointed me in the slightest. It was so good from start to finish.   I always thought Bentley was an interesting character and I was so happy that he got his own book, he definitely deserves it!    Break Your Little Heart - Charleigh Rose I’m so happy that this book is FINALLY here, I waited a long time for this and it didn’t disappoint me in the slightest.    Holden and Valen had me at hello, I loved their relationship, their banter, their tension and especially all the emotions. Valen is the one in their relationship that doesn’t want a relationship and wants to keep things casual whereas Holden quickly realises that he wants her for himself. He really surprised me with his patience and gentleness and I loved to see his sweet side.   This book is by far my favourite one of Charleighs books. I loved both Holden and Valen individually and as a couple and their emotions were really well written. The plot had it ups and downs, it was very focused on the relationship with a little side plot but I totally enjoyed it.    I highly, highly recommend reading the first book in the series.
