Riot Act is the third book in the Crooked Sinners Series and follows Pax and Presley. I would recommend reading the other two books beforehand, although they are all standalones and can be read on its own.

 

Callie Hart did it once again. She had me completely wrapped around her finger with these books and I couldn’t put them down once. I was so excited to read about Pax and Presley’s story and it didn’t disapoint me once. It was so good from start to finish.

 

From the three Riot Boys, Pax was definitely my favorite one. We don’t know much about him from the previous books and I was so curious how he would turn out.

 

Pax and Presley are both really strong characters and Presley in particular had a very, very great character development. We know her as the girl who is so scared of Pax but she definitely showed her strenght in this book and I loved that she didn’t back down once. All their scenes together were so intense but I had a lot of fun reading this book although their pasts are more than heartbreaking.

 

All in all, Riot Act was an amazing book and great conclusion to the Crooked Sinners series. It is definitely a rollercoaster and heartbreaking but it also showed the strengths of the characters individually and it also had romantic and cute moments.

I absolutely adore the fake dating trope and the concept of the Fairy Godmother Agency was amazing. Marnie and Griffins chemistry was amazingly shown and I enjoyed their banter and friendship development so much. This was such a quick, funny and lightweighed story with a lot of sweet moments between those two characters and I can’t wait to read the other books.    Break Your Little Heart - Charleigh Rose I’m so happy that this book is FINALLY here, I waited a long time for this and it didn’t disappoint me in the slightest.    Holden and Valen had me at hello, I loved their relationship, their banter, their tension and especially all the emotions. Valen is the one in their relationship that doesn’t want a relationship and wants to keep things casual whereas Holden quickly realises that he wants her for himself. He really surprised me with his patience and gentleness and I loved to see his sweet side.   This book is by far my favourite one of Charleighs books. I loved both Holden and Valen individually and as a couple and their emotions were really well written. The plot had it ups and downs, it was very focused on the relationship with a little side plot but I totally enjoyed it.    I highly, highly recommend reading the first book in the series. It was so cute but also funny and I couldn’t stop swooning! It follows the very shy „wallflower“ Daisy, who has a crush on her lab class partner Liam and Jordan, the bad boy hockey player with a heart of gold. Daisy is added to Jordan and Liams group in their shared lab class, because her partner is a now show, and although she is very happy to be partnerd up with the good guy Liam, her crush, she could do without Jordan.
