Don't Mind if "I Do" - Everly Ashton

Don't Mind if "I Do" - Everly Ashton

Audiobook kindly provided in exchange for my honest opinion.

This was such a good book!
I was so interested in this story after reading the blurb that I couldn’t stop listening once after I started.

Mazzy and Nick know each other for forever but for the last decade they haven’t utter a single word to each other so when Nick receives a call from Mazzy, the very first thing he says to her is, to never contact him again. But Mazzy being her stubborn self and in need for his help doesn’t listen to him and shows up at the hospital were he works requesting his help. Good thing, Nick also needs Mazzy’s help … right?

Don’t Mind if „I Do“ is a very funny but also sweet book and it is also filled with tropes, I don’t know were to begin with. It’s childhood friends – to enemies – to lovers, fake marriage/relationship, kind of roommates I think?
Mazzy and Nick were great characters and I really enjoyed reading their journey, working past their problems, being there for each other and finding one another again. Their story was so beautiful.

I’m also a huge fan of the narrators. Ever since I heard The Risk by Elle Kennedy, I’m a huge Teddy Hamilton, the male narrator, fan. He has a very calm and pleasant voice and it is very easy to listen to him and the same applies to the female narrator Ava Erickson.
