Kelsey Clayton is a brilliant author and she proved it once again with her new dark mafia romance book Suffer in Silence.


Suffer in Silence follows the italian mafia boss Kage, and the freshyl turned 21 years old college student Saxon. 

After Saxons grandfather passes away, all of his belongings get in the hands of Saxons father, including those who actually belong to the italian mafia. Kage's last chance to get those back is by forcing Saxons father to hand them back by kidnapping Saxon. But Kage definitely didn't expect Saxon to be so feisty. 


I fell in love with Saxon straight away. She was an amazing character and I loved that she didn't put up with anything despite being kidnapped by the mafia and surrounded by men who can easily kill her. She had her weak moments but she stood up for herself and fought. 

Althoug the relationship development between Saxon and Kage happened a bit too fast for me, given the circumstances, I loved their scenes together and they had great banter.


Suffer in Silence is a book that makes you forget everything around you. From the moment I began reading it, I couldn't put it down and it once again shows that Kelsey is a great author! I can't wait to see what happens next, especially after that ending.

It follows Marnie, who got left at the altar and ends up being a meme and Griffin, a bartender who becomes Marnies borrowed boyfriend. I absolutely adore the fake dating trope and the concept of the Fairy Godmother Agency was amazing. Marnie and Griffins chemistry was amazingly shown and I enjoyed their banter and friendship development so much. This was such a quick, funny and lightweighed story with a lot of sweet moments between those two characters and I can’t wait to read the other books.    Break Your Little Heart - Charleigh Rose I’m so happy that this book is FINALLY here, I waited a long time for this and it didn’t disappoint me in the slightest.    Holden and Valen had me at hello, I loved their relationship, their banter, their tension and especially all the emotions. Valen is the one in their relationship that doesn’t want a relationship and wants to keep things casual whereas Holden quickly realises that he wants her for himself. He really surprised me with his patience and gentleness and I loved to see his sweet side.   This book is by far my favourite one of Charleighs books. I loved both Holden and Valen individually and as a couple and their emotions were really well written. The plot had it ups and downs, it was very focused on the relationship with a little side plot but I totally enjoyed it.    I highly, highly recommend reading the first book in the series. It was so cute but also funny and I couldn’t stop swooning! It follows the very shy „wallflower“ Daisy, who has a crush on her lab class partner Liam and Jordan, the bad boy hockey player with a heart of gold. Daisy is added to Jordan and Liams group in their shared lab class, because her partner is a now show, and although she is very happy to be partnerd up with the good guy Liam, her crush, she could do without Jordan.
